While the kids were hanging out with us for their Spring Break we went to the Virginia Beach Indian Pow Wow! There were dancers that were dressed in traditional attire, and some in not-so-traditional attire. There were drummers and singers and, of course, tons of shops to drool over all of the coolest Indian things money could buy! The boys got some arrow heads and Heidi got some barrettes with feathers and beads.
The boys thought these guys were pretty awesome out there in the hot sun with all of this stuff on, but Heidi was not too sure about. Needless to say, she won't be left out of a picture, so she put on her best smile and mustered up all of the courage she had to get in the shot with these enormous Indians. What a gal!
