Talkin' Turkey With Becca

Today, Rebecca and I were invited over to Granny Alice and Grandpa Sandy's house for Thanksgiving dinner.  There ended up being quite the crowd with all of their family there and the two of us.  Luckily, there were two younger boys that Becca was more than happy to play with the entire time.  After a bit of playing, Becca tells me she needs to go to the potty, so I take her little travel seat into the bathroom and we take care of our business.  We come out of the bathroom and Becca runs up to Grandpa Sandy and announces that "Grandpa! I go pee pee in the potty!!"  So, everybody starts to clap for her accomplishment.  This started an ongoing round of applause for all bathroom breaks, young and old.  Our little girl sure does have a way of making everyday her own.

I would much rather have Joe's smoked turkey.

Yummy!  Mommy's been in the kitchen baking cookies! 

My first pecan pie.  This pie received rave reviews from
all of the quests at Granny Alice's house.  It was
very delicious.

Look who's getting taller!  She would randomly
walk up to me with a cookie in her hand and
ask if she could have it.  She cracks me up!
