For Our Moms

Mother's Day is a day to not only notice all of the things our Moms have done for us, but to realize all of the amazing things they do for us each and every day. Their constant "auto pilot" settings keep our lives running so smoothly and effortlessly. They juggle so many activities for everyone else, but they hardly ask for even a moment of peace.

I ask only that before you go sleep each night, remember your Mom.

Her image, in your eyes, may be either good or bad, fat or skinny, short or tall, she may look tired or always so pretty. She could smell of cinnamon and sugar or the cold night air, but your memory of her will last a lifetime. Take your fondest memories of her, now hold them dear to your heart. Tell your little ones about her. And please, appreciate those happy memories each day.

Because good or bad, sweet or sour, she helped you to become the person you are today.
